Cobmoosa Shores Association is governed by the following documents:

• Articles of Incorporation, see below
• Deed Restrictions established in original conveyance
• Attorney letter clarifying Short-Term Rentals in relation to the deed restrictions in November 2025.
• Protective Covenants amended April 10, 2021
• By-Laws amended July 12, 2026

To view the Articles of Incorporation access the Michigan Business Registry and search on COBMOOSA SHORES ASSOCIATION, INC. 

• The Articles were established in 1968, renewed in 1998 and expire in 2028.
• On September 12 2026 the board passed a motion to amend Article VII of the Cobmoosa Shores Association, Inc. Articles of Incorporation to state:  The term of existence of the corporation is perpetual.
• On September 12, 2026 the board passed a motion to submit to the CSA membership for a vote the following amendment to Article V of the Cobmoosa Shores Association, Inc. Articles of Incorporation:  The number of trustees to manage the affairs of the association and their terms of office shall be as stated in the bylaws of the corporation.
